Clwyd
ME Support Group has been active since 1992, has always promoted the
interests of its members in North East Wales - Flintshire,
Denbighshire, Wrexham and Conwy.
At the Clwyd ME Support Group we offer help and information for any sufferer who has ME / CFS or FMS and everyone involved in their care whether they are family, friends or health professionals. Our aim is to support adults and young people who have to cope with these debilitating illnesses and we would not be able to do this without support and funding from The Morgan Foundation.
Clwyd ME Support
Group was started by Barbara Turnbull our Chairperson who developed ME
in 1988 and then started a crusade to
get treatment for ME sufferers in North Wales. This resulted in two
clinics being developed. You can be referred to the Connah's Quay Clinic through your GP.
If you have an interest in Myalagic Encephalomyelitis (ME), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)or Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS) we can provide you with support and information.
Details of all our planned meetings for 2011 can be found on the Meetings Page
