CFS/ME is Life Limiting
By this we mean that things that you used to take for granted you can no longer do, or you have to do them at a slower pace, or you need someone else’s help to achieve.
This is the part that people on the path to recovery find hardest to deal with.
It is natural that if you're feeling a little better you want to do more!
This is when you should STOP and ask yourself how will I feel today / tomorrow or even later. If you're not sure, don't continue. Wait and see how you feel over the next few days.If you're OK then you know that next time you can do a little more. If you feel very weary or your other symptoms increase, then you know that next time you must do a little less.
No one can teach you this only you know what’s going to make you feel worse:
Be honest with yourself.
You need to understand how to manage your illness.
